10th October

Had an amusing, albeit cruel, start to the day. Babs was talking to me about the dogs she used to have in Germany.

B: "Ven I vos in Germany ve had 2 dogs and they were very big and very strong and I used to like making walk wiz zem."

S: "Sorry?"

B: "How you say 'make walks' in English?"

S: "Ah, yes. We say 'go dogging'"

B: "Yes, I used to go dogging every morning before class"

School was a real struggle, couldn't remember anything, but Jimena and I went to an Amazonian museum which was excellent. All in Spanish but was quite easy to understand. Tim was with his teacher too. She spoke pretty complicated spanish to which Tim always replied "Si, si".

Went to a mexican restaurant and had chimichanga and ordered a drink I saw a bloke in the corner supping. It was pretty much fire in a pint glass. Beer, salt, tequila and 2 crushed chillis. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Filled in ANOTHER visa with Rosa. Jesus, she is untidy. She was in a foul mood so I left her to it.
