Day T-2

Just realised I can't count. Today should be Day T-1. Good job I don't work for NASA.

Had a great night again last night. Stew/Andie, Dan/Boob, Archie Bourel, 9-hole, Jase (Hannah in absentia), Mad Malc/Alex, Big Dave, et mes petites fleurs y luces de mis ojos - Caro, Christelle, Marie et Marie. Lots of cards, champagne, presents and great times. Thanks to all who contributed (Dan!).

Started packing. Hate packing. Really hate packing. I have laid out all the stuff on my bed and now seriously praying my rucksack has been made by someone called "The Doctor".

The folks have been delayed on the motorway so I still have a few moments of clarity before pandemonium takes place.

Still no VISA card. Now coming at 6-10pm.

Day T-3

Na, did the test this morning. Well solid. The reading comprehension must have been straight out of El Pais or similar. Still managed to get 74%. This puts me in the class one below the advanced set.

Ma & Pa are now coming up tomorrow which is a godsend and means I have got another 2 hours to prepare.

Off to see Caroline for lunch and pick up currency and then beers in Wimb tonight.

Day T-4

Manage to spend £150 in Boots on pills, lotions and potions and got a huge rucksack that will stretch the 20kg limit to the max.

Had lunch with Virginia which was a welcome relief from the stresses of holiday planning.

Then une petite souris got me pissed on continental lager and I am now another day behind on the preparation.

Got in to find ANOTHER Spanish exam I had to sit before Saturday. On-line, listening, grammar, vocab and reading test. Hmm, shall I do it after Grolsch?

Day T-5

Spent most of the day with Gavin on the phone rebooking the Peru trip. I think we are nearly there. Had an argument with a suit rental company.

Day T-6

Got GCSE Spanish result.
